LINCOLN COUNTY -- A 16-year-old Troy, Mo., teen was seriously injured Wednesday in a motorcycle crash with a car.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reported that at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, the teen -- Mathew F. Stone -- was driving his 2006 Kawasaki Ninja south on Route KK at Walker Road.
Virginia A. Anderson, 53, also of Troy, was driving east on Walker Road and pulling away from a stop sign when the motorcycle drove into her path, police said.
Mathew was taken by Arch Helicopter to St. Joseph West hospital in St. Charles where he was listed in serious condition Wednesday afternoon.

A Troy teen-ager suffered serious injuries when the motorcycle he was riding struck another vehicle Wednesday.
The accident occurred at 11:45 a.m. on Route KK at Walker Road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. An eastbound 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse, driven by 53-year-old Virginia Anderson of Troy, was stopped at a stop sign. A 2006 Kawasaki Ninja, operated by 16-year-old Mathew Stone of Troy, was southbound on Route KK. Reportedly the Eclipse entered the roadway, turning north into the path of the motorcycle, causing Stone’s motorcycle to strike the car.
Stone was taken to St. Joseph West in St. Charles by Arch Helicopter.

She was pulling away from a stop sign and a motorcycle pulled into HER path.
May she should have not pulled from the stop sign yet!
The Dispatch doesn't let facts disrupt their stories.

any chance they have to bash bikers they will.. we all already know this.. take what they say with a grain of salt.. sucks they make us look bad everytime any thing happens to a biker, but i guess thats what you have to accept when you have a bike.
