I'm not "big dick talkin'" here, but imo the way a bike handles, whether it's on the snow, ice, or bone dry pavement has less to to do with the the bike and more to do with the rider... You simply cannot replace the experience factor when it comes to motorcycling. If I throw a leg over my scoot today and take to the road, I have to be prepared mentally and physically for the activity. I've done my share of stupid animal tricks and for the most part have walked away unscathed, but I have learned to always, ALWAYS respect my ride, plan for the unplanned and keep my head in the game.
