Sorry I missed out!..

I have beeen out jetski'n and stuff as much as I can before the season ends..

How was the ride?..where did you guys go?

I know it's late notice, but I thought I'd let you know. I am also on a Nighthawks forum and a guy on that site is getting a ride together. It's just going to be 2 Nighthawks and a couple of guys on sportbikes, but you (and anyone you want to bring) are welcome to come out. I've never met any of them, so we'll all be in the same boat. We're meeting at Sunday (8/30/09) @ 11 am at Mobile On The Run 1325 N Main St OFallon mo 63366.

In the 90's the Nighthawk became more of the budget bike compared to yours. It's still a solid piece, but it went to 5 speed. They were rated at 67 hp and are supposed to max out at about 130... so I don't imagine I'll see 130 on mine, but you're right, it might be fun to try.

Do the nighthawks have a 6spd or a 5spd tranny?..

I think I remember them having 6..

My bike bike makes about 80hp..

If yours makes the same AND has 6 gears..your probly looking at 140mph..

Might be fun to find out!..lol

I did an awesome trip down 55 to perryville..

Then took all back roads down to poplar bluff..

Ended up being a 365 mi. ride..

Out of curiousity..what does ur bike top out at?..

After screwing with my gearing..I get about 130 +/- 5%(speedo error range)..

Well, it was definitely the weekend to do watersports. I melted my face off... well, mostly just at stops.

yeah..thats awesome..i only sqeezed in about 150..

I spent most of the weekend out on the river(missouri) with my jetski..

I did 477 miles this weekend. It was a blast.

A lot of people on here go for rides all the tyme..
Check the message boards for people wanting to go for a ride..

The guys I ride with usually go out on friday nights..

Unless we are headed to the lake..
